2008 October > Hip Hop Rock Concert
The FMA Live Science show is sponsored by Honeywell & NASA. The program uses a live hip hop rock concert to pique the interest of elementary students in hopes of encouraging them to consider careers in Math & Science. FMA stands for Force = Mass x Acceleration, Newton's Second Law. FMA Live! will reach an estimated 18,000 students during the 2008 Fall tour in addition to the 183,000+ that have already seen the show. The entire program, including the 18-wheel truck, tour bus and 10 person cast and crew, is fully funded by Honeywell.
